Why we exist
Dreaming with Hope began in Colombia with a simple idea: one kid, one volunteer, one day built around a single value. Events grew to hundreds of participants. We brought the model to New York because the need is here too — thousands of children growing up in single-parent homes, often without a consistent adult outside the family who shows up for them. We're starting small, with a handful of kids and volunteers through Old St. Patrick's Basilica. We don't intend to stay small.
What we believe
Bring the heart of an apostle
- We are not just organizing events. We are creating opportunities for people to encounter God through love and service.
- For the kids, that means truth, love, hope, and genuine care in the middle of whatever they're facing.
- For volunteers, service is one of the oldest paths to conversion. Thousands have found Christ by stepping outside themselves for someone else.
- We put prayer before action. Every event begins with Mass.
